I like the actually picture and how you used rules of thirds. I don't like the heavy shadows that are incorporated in this photo because it takes away from the overall composition. I also think you could have cropped the image more. Overall it is an o.k. picture but you could have really done more editing to it.
I love this image, I think it uses a strong sense of color and contrast. The shadows in this photo make it extremely interesting and add a lot of character to the photograph. I like that the focus is on the boy and the background is simplified. The stripes on his shirt add interest to the photo and the point of view is unique, I also love the expression on his face.
